About Ann Forde, and Ann Forde Photography

This website was created by one of my ‘clients’ who married a friend of mine over 20 years ago. I was their wedding photographer. I have been a photographer for a long, long time!

Recently I had the opportunity to leave my work within the education sector and focus on photography. Now that I have grand-children I experience the joy that comes from being with babies and the value of capturing those precious moments before they change.

Maternity is also a wonderful state of being and I enjoy challenge of capturing the beauty of pregnancy, the anticipation of birth and the nurturing of new life, as lasting memories through photography.

Often our friends and family are not with us, interstate or overseas, so photographs provide a way to share moments but more than snapshots I aim to enhance those memories by photographing creative moments.

The images in this website showcase just some of the ways that significant life stages can be captured, from weddings through maternity and then the new born and babies these photographs will record those precious memories.
